Interesting combinations...

Even though I live in Hong Kong, Japanese snacks are all the rage here. I came across this one in a 'okashi' store. These are crackers called
Cheese Bran". Seems to defeat the purpose, if you ask me. Then again, here in Hong Kong and in Japan as well, dietary regularity isn't exactly a priority. Despite the fact that the typical Cantonese and Japanese (for that matter, East Asian) diet usually consist of fresh meats, seafood, and vegetables, there isn't a lot of insoluable fibre found anywhere in it. Makes you wonder how they get by. Possibly one reason why Starbucks is so popular in Asia.
